Kings How Rosthwaite is a traditional stone cottage for two in the heart of the Borrowdale Valley. This single-level retreat sits in the small village of Rosthwaite in Cumbria. Vaulted ceilings and timber beams give the cottage real character.
The Lake District surrounds you here. Derwentwater lies less than 4 miles north. Walking paths lead straight from the door up to the fells or along the valley floor. The Seatoller bus runs year-round. Between April and October the Honister Rambler serves Portinscale, Catbells, Honister Slate Mine, Buttermere and Whinlatter Forest.
The open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner features beamed ceilings and field views. A wood burner effect electric fire warms the space.
