Walla Crag is a traditional slate terrace cottage in Keswick, Cumbria. This one-bedroom retreat sleeps two guests and sits right in the heart of this popular Lake District market town. The property features a spacious king-size bedroom and a second-floor snug with a large picture window offering views across rooftops towards the fells.
Keswick sits close to Derwentwater and provides easy access for fell walkers. The town has museums, galleries, a cinema and the Theatre by the Lake. Launch stops for Derwentwater are nearby. Pubs and shops are less than 400 metres away.

The cottage has three floors. Ground floor includes a lounge with electric fire and smart TV, plus a kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, integrated fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. First floor has the king-size bedroom and bathroom with shower over bath. The second-floor snug is perfect for reading with those fell views.
Catbells walk starts 5 miles away. Castlerigg Stone Circle is 2 miles from town (15 minutes). Whinlatter Forest sits 5 miles away (12 minutes) with excellent mountain biking tracks. Lingholm garden, which inspired Beatrix Potter, is accessible via Derwentwater launch.
This couples' base is ideal for fell walkers and mountain bikers. The shared garden is a real suntrap for morning coffee. Walla Crag offers a comfortable home-from-home in the heart of Keswick.
