Upon entering the property, you will be greeted by a spacious kitchen/diner, fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delightful meals for your group. Adjacent to this, you will find a dining room with seating for six people, perfect for enjoying family meals or playing board games into the evening. The sitting room is an inviting space to unwind, featuring a warming open-fire and a Smart TV for your entertainment. A handy cloakroom with a basin and WC completes the ground floor layout. As you ascend the staircase, you will find three well-presented bedrooms: a super-king-size which can be made into a twin on request, a double, and a twin room which can also be converted into a super-king-size if required. These rooms offer flexible sleeping arrangements to suit the needs of your group. The property benefits from a sleek bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin, and WC, as well as a separate shower room with a walk-in shower, heated towel rail, basin, and WC, providing ample facilities for all guests. Outside, there is a shared patio area complete with furniture, where you can enjoy a morning coffee or an evening drink, whilst taking in the tranquil surroundings. Await exciting days out exploring the wider area of North Yorkshire; begin at the Aysgarth Falls Yorkshire Dales National Park Visitor Centre, where you can admire the beautiful cascading falls and embark on one of the many walks available. Explore historic castles, including both Bolton Castle and Richmond Castle, each offering different, yet equally captivating glimpses into a bygone era. Cheese enthusiasts will adore a trip to the Wensleydale Creamery, whilst history lovers will relish a day spent at the Dales Countryside Museum. For the more adventurous, The Forbidden Corner offers an intricate network of labyrinth-like tunnels, chambers, and follies. Gunnerside, named after the Viking Gunnar, is a Swaledale village that was originally known for its dairy farming. In the 17th century it expanded with the arrival of lead mining in the area, and many of the cottages in the village were built at this time. Although the lead mining stopped in the 1830s, the village remains nestled into Gunnerside Gill. A walk up the Gill leads to the old lead workings amid the hills. Back down in the village, the Kings Head Pub, Gunnerside, a community owned, Grade II listed pub, serves good food , local ales and entertainment; Ghyllfoot tearoom Ghyllfoot Tearoom and don't forget Ramsay's Fish and Chip Van in Yorkshire Dales National Park. Further attractions include Locomotion, an engrossing railway museum detailing Shildon's railway history, the verdant South Park offering a lovely setting for a leisurely picnic, and the Edwardian theatre at Hopetown, Darlington.
