Excellent cottage, lovely hosts, beautiful view. If we come back to Keswick, this would be where we'd stay.

The accommodation was amazing very spacious all the amenities down stairs and the view to die for! The upstairs lacked a little in the small room as door does not close And the quilt was so ill fitting too small from either side as it kept falling off! Trivial I know but just pointing it out! Everything else up to scratch!

We have stayed in many holiday homes in Keswick over the last 20 years. We can happily say that Sandburne cottage is our favorite. The view from the conservatory is incredible! We really enjoyed eating all our meals in there. The cottage is comfy, well maintained and very well equipped. The king sized bed in the main bedroom is without doubt the comfiest bed we have ever slept on. The cottage has loads of space and at the same time cosy. We two adults and two children have an amazing holiday in Keswick and Sandburg cottage was the pinnacle of the week. We would love to return for another stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Sandburne Cottage, it is spotlessly clean, well equipped, warm and comfortable and has the most spectacular views across Keswick and the mountains beyond. We did lots of excellent walks from the door, and a couple after catching the bus a little way down the road which is very convenient, as is the old railway path into the centre of town. Thank you Tony and Janet for the lovely welcome gifts on arrival.

We had an excellent stay at sandburne cottage. The cottage was outstanding with everything you could ever need on a holiday supplied The new kitchen was outstanding. We sat in the conservatory most nights it gave wonderful views over Keswick Everything had a mark of quality about it especially the comfortable beds and we would definitely stay here again when visiting Keswick

Tony and Janice have a wonderful home, with idyllic views and all you need for a relaxing and enjoyable break. Sandburne Cottage allowed us, as a family of 5, plenty of space to enjoy our holiday with a separate lounge amply equipped with fun games for us to play, fullyequipped kitchen, and a conservatory where we ate and appreciated the views. We were made to feel very welcome and would thoroughly recommend staying here thank you Tony and Janice!

Beautiful cottage with stunning views from the conservatory to the NW fells along with glorious sunsets we were blest with lovely weather. The house is very spacious and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. A modern kitchen made preparing meals a doddle. It was a pleasure to meet Tony and Janet and be shown around the property on our arrival and thank you for the lovely welcome treats especially the homemade flapjack which went down a treat on the fells. All in all a fabulous week at Sandburne Cottage.

Sandburne cottage is absolutely beautiful it has everything you need spotlessly clean. The views from the conservatory are amazing. Would definitely go back there. It has everything you need . The owner left a welcome pack which was lovely.

We had a very pleasant stay. The cottage was comfortable, clean and well equipped. We met the owners of the cottage who were friendly and helpful.

We cannot recommend Sandburne cottage highly enough. It was well equipped and spotlessly clean . Everything you could possibly need was there. The highlight of our stay was the panoramic views of the mountains. Sitting in the conservatory at mealtimes and playing cards . Tony and Janet were very welcoming but not at all intrusive. We cannot wait to return next year.

It was lovely that Tony took the time out to welcome us and show us around the cottage. The personal touch was much appreciated. The cottage was clean and tidy with the lovely touch of home cooked Flapjacks and a fruit loaf. The cottage location is stunning. It was great, on our first day, to recover from driving in the sunny conservatory overlooking the village and valley below. All up, this stay exceeded our expectations.

Fantastic house. Beautiful views and the owners were very welcoming to the cottage. The bottle of wine, Bryson plumb bread and homemade flapjacks were a wonderful touch and very much appreciated. The garden was beautiful and great place to sit and relax. As a keen gardener and bird watching, it was perfect. Look forward to visiting again.

,Welcoming owners, a comprehensively equipped, well appointed and comfortable property where much thought has been given and provision made, for the needs of guests. The conservatory dining area is a gem, with an unrivalled panorama of 3-Bedroom House in Keswick. West facing, it also benefits from lovely sunsets. Val Saynor.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sandburne. We were met by the owner on arrival and he was very helpful with giving a guide to the property and using all the facilities available The house was very clean and tidy and provided plenty of space for our group of four adults. The house was tastefully furnished in keeping with its age. I found the views from the conservatory and main bedroom of the surrounding countryside side awesome and very therapeutic . The kitchen facilities were modern and easy to use and there were plenty of games, books etc to keep you occupied should we have had some wet days. The electric heating was more than sufficient for our needs. The milk in the fridge and homemade flapjack was a lovely touch and just made our stay even better. Thanks for a lovely holiday

This is almost the perfect holiday cottage. Clean, comfortable, spacious, well equipped, conveniently located for the town, walks from the door and busses. Fantastic view from the main bedroom, lounge and conservatory. Friendly and helpful owners. Lovely garden.
